A Ch'i Kung Exercise for General Health
As the name implies, this particular form of Ch'i Kung has a spiritual quality to it. It is also well suited for an older person. Its movements are gentle and even suggestive of the stages of a mythical or fictional journey to heaven, and of the experience of being there. The exercises are available in two forms – with a story (to also exercise the imagination), or without.
* This ch'i kung (ch'i gung, ch'i gong) exercise can be done sitting or standing.
* Each move is separated by the resting position – palms pressed together at heart height.
* You can switch order and repeat without a problem. Just do enough repetitions to have an effect.
